Determiner क्या है?

Determiner वह शब्द होता है जो किसी Noun (संज्ञा) के पहले आकर उसके बारे में विशेष जानकारी देता है। यह बताता है कि वह व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थान या विचार कौन-सा है, कितनी मात्रा में है, किसका है, कितनी संख्या में है या किसकी ओर संकेत किया जा रहा है।

सरल शब्दों में: Determiner किसी Noun की पहचान, मात्रा, संख्या, स्वामित्व या संकेत बताने वाला शब्द है।

Types of Determiners (निर्धारकों के प्रकार)

Determiners कई प्रकार के होते हैं। प्रत्येक प्रकार Noun के बारे में अलग-अलग जानकारी देता है। कोई मात्रा बताता है, कोई संख्या, कोई स्वामित्व, कोई संकेत और कोई प्रश्न पूछने के लिए प्रयोग होता है।

Rule 1 — पहली बार A/An, दूसरी बार The

जब किसी Singular Countable Noun का पहली बार उल्लेख किया जाता है, तो A/An का प्रयोग करते हैं। उसी Noun का दोबारा उल्लेख होने पर The का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Rule 1 — Determiner हमेशा Noun से पहले आता है
